Cannabis in the news again
This all leads into my rant about the news media and their massaging of words to provide a story innaccurately, for example, in reference to the above paragraph, "We ask why Harry Potter has been so important to all of us." Bullshit! I hate Harry Potter, but you knew that already.
Take the new waste of money by the UK Gov to reclassify cannabis back to Class B from it's previous Class C (which was a recent reclassification in itself). And what words are used to justify this? Psychologists have said that there have been "many more cases of psychological problems from the stronger strains of cannabis, such as skunk"
Let's look at this logically. You are a psychologist and last year, you had one patient with skunk-based mental issues, then suddenly this year, you have five. Now that's a MASSIVE 400% increase since the previous year, but does not say anything other than 4 more people had problems.
And they act like Skunk is a new thing! Anyone with an ounce of common sense, researches this and discovers that skunk has been around for well over a decade. And why would this be an issue? For well over 20 years now, anyone in Europe can legally visit the Nederlands and smoke your head off! From the UK, you can get a boat for £35 (return). So why the wastage? Why then, have MPs coming forward saying, "yes I smoked weed as a teenager, but I know it was a mistake now."
Fucking hypocrites. Especially when the press put it in a headline stating, "MP smoked drugs as a teen!"
A cigarette is a fucking drug dickheads! If I put a ciggie in my mouth and smoke it, I am, yes indeed, smoking drugs!
