Criminal Damage
The birthday bash was great fun, even if I was forced to try and enjoy some godawful rock(ish) club. I didn't care, I was far too drunk by that time anyway.
Returned to Joses in the late evening, somehow, and I fell asleep in an upstairs room on bits of carpet. Not sure why, when the sofa downstairs in much more comfortable. I returned downstairs once I realised this.
The next day had a nice breakfast, and headed off home at around 11:30am. As I approached the car I noticed some muck on the boot, but thought nothing of it.
As I was driving along the motorway, I could hear too much wind, but again I thought nothing of it.
After I had returned home, I realised that I needed to visit the supermarket to get some milk, cat food, coffee, and rizla. Driving along my street, I noticed that one of the metal straps running across the roof of my car (enables the electric fabric roof to be opened) was indented into the vehicle, rather than outdented to the fabric roof.
I stopped my vehicle and had a look at the roof from outside, and discovered much to my dismay that it appeared that either someone had thrown a huge stone onto my car, or had walked on the roof, which had then collapsed under the weight.
I forgot the Rizla.
I reported the crime and a forensics d00d turned to try and get some evidence from the car. It's not looking hopeful.
So I rang my insurance to find out what they wanted me to do, and they suggested that I get a quote for the work first, and then come back to them depending on the cost.
Next morning took the car in and after three free coffees and nearly an hour of waiting, I was told that it would cost between £200 to £250 (max), which is great. My insurance excess is £160 so little point in claiming.
So now I'm driving around in a damaged car, and will be for the rest of the week. For some reason, the joy and fun of the drive has lost some of it's shine right now.
I'll post pictures of the damage in follow up posts.

Then again retrospective abortion has a lot of merit when dealining with mutants :p
I won't be visiting Jose again in my car if he remains in the same location.
