De-cluttering the Territory of Mind
To be an anarchist, you really have to de-clutter. Have to? Well not in the physical sense perhaps. But in the mind, you have to work out the difference between "in there" and "out there." There is a follow-up comment which summed it up for me, "Oi kids, off my lawn!"
The lawn is not mine. If I have invested my time and effort in the creation and upkeep of said lawn, then there is an attachment there, but it is still not mine.
Creating rules around our creations is pretty pointless, as rules are meant to be broken, and they will be, ultimately making us angry. Better to accept that the lawn is not mine, and decide ahead of time whether it will be worth my time, no matter the consequences.
As to what's on TV (which is not a lot), the BBC (who should have replaced TV Licencing with Product Placement ages ago) have shown the first episode of the third series of Ideal, good to see Moz, Cartoonhead, and the rest again. You might wanna watch it.
Onto site news, Nolef tells me, there have been a few fixes to the site, but the back-end hasn't been properly started on for most parts of this site, this includes the new member activation system, which is the real reason for the disabled registration at this time. But you know what, I think the "beta" thing is very Web 2.0 right now.
