Development at a standstill.

Wednesday, the 21st of January, 2009 at 10:56am
No point in upgrading this place any further right now, I'm not getting paid for it.

I have got a web application that I am slowly moving toward a distributable model, which when it reaches version 0.5 will likely be uploaded to another one of my sites, and then run in beta mode until I'm absolutely certain that there are no bugs in the main areas (such as stock transactions, order transactions, invoicing, crediting, and accounts).

When it is ready, I will be attempting to sell it as a distributable ecommerce web application, perhaps for a nice round one grand Sterling per install. If we consider that I have spent enough time on it to charge over £20,000 for it, £1000 is a bloody good deal.

If you're lucky, I'll put in a link to the beta here, but it will be some time yet.

Features Currently Include:

Automatic installation script.
Infinite-depth categories.
Ability to enable/disable mod_rewrite URLs.
Product search facilities.
Product list sorting and paging.
...and more

Public Front-End Features:

User registration, login, authentication and account modification.
Multiple delivery addresses facilities.
Shopping cart with Protx and Mals Ecommerce integration.
...and more

Administration Back-End Features:

User login and authentication.
Products with multiple pricing structures.
Multiple photos for each product and category.
...and more
