Gan on!
For those upset at the fact that I managed to get something I wanted within a reasonable timescale in Dewsbury town centre, I did try to look for a lock and spring thing for a door, you know, you make a hole in the door, stick it in, and stick a handle through; but with a lock. No chance.
Lemme get an ashtray, hang on...
Came home after work finished, as is what normal and mad people alike do from time to time, and kitted up me laptop, banged the S-Video cable in, shoved t'other end in't TV, and boom bam thank you madam, PC on me telly. Gan on, ye hi tech fecker! W00t and all that.

See that? That's me setup, taken with my shitty webcam, but it's alright. You can just about make out everything setup there. But hark! What's on the telly? It's the last episode of Babylon 5 Crusade that I have seen (notice the clever yet deliberately confusing construction of that sentence. I have in fact specifically designed it to bring up this page in the search results for 'Last Episode of Babylon 5 Crusade').
I often wondered why they stopped making Crusade, you know, but now that I've seen it I know why.
HIP HOP
YOU DON'T STOP
DJ'S, MC'S GETTIN' DOWN
FROM NEW YORK CITY
TO LONDON TOWN
AND THEN BACK ON THE FUNK
IN HUDDERSFIELD WITH PUNK
(I added the last bit myself. I have been drinking. It's St. Paddys Day you fucks! DRINK!)
This is where I watch my telly from, which is streaming VD's and funky files from my server oopstairs. All I need now is a wireless router and then I'll have less wires.

HELLO SASS! Aw cute.
fucks sake.

Many eons ago back in the dark ages of using a Thinkpad T22 with S-Video Out I did the same thing. In fact predating this I used to hook up my voodoo 3500 TV card on a spare desktop to the TV for watching DVD's and Err (DivX popular back then LOL). I now use the item in the link above. It's wireless, but Wireless sucks cock for streaming movies since stray microwave interference screws with stuff in the 2-3GHz bandwidth range. So I ran a Ethernet cable round the outside of the house instead. Does pics, Video
& noise from a remote. settee Potato heaven.
