Hey, where all those blog entries come from?

Tuesday, the 28th of July, 2009 at 5:35am
Ah look see, the members list suddenly has filled with new and old members alike, and each has gained blog entries.

This is due to the way that this site now handles the Writings section. No longer are these important documents stored in text form, and streamed to you that way, now they reside within the blog database.

Although this might seem pointless and a lot of work for nothing, then you have failed to realise the power behind this blogging system. Basically put, you can now comment on any article posted at Sensibilium.com, whether it be our first ever(!) article The finding of the snark made way back in 1999, this post I'm making now, or anything in between.

Thud has not yet been integrated into the blog, as there are other issues involved in programmatically presenting them to you (IE: There are several books inside The Land of Thud which is a book in of itself. Each book also inter-relates with each other book, and vice-versa, based on posting date). I will work on Thud some other time.

Did you notice that our first ever post was on the 23rd of January 1999? Yes, we are over 10 years old!

Decadent!

if we had true hypertext anyone could comment on any uri right back to the first internets

i have a long-term request - semantic webify the site!

these two are the main ontologies you could use for your sensibillium graph:
foaf - friend of a friend
sioc - semantically interlinked online communities

thud might benefit from its own ontology - the protege ontology editor is not bad.
