Sensibilium crashes Chrome?

Friday, the 26th of March, 2010 at 10:02am
We've had reports that following links on this site can crash Chrome.

Yay!

EDIT:

It would appear to maybe have something to do with the AdBlock extension which is disturbing to say the least.

Let me assure you all now, I will investigate this. =)

EDIT2: Nope, nothing to do with AdBlock, so this is a GENUINE & AUTHENTIC Chrome crashing problem.

i had to use chrome for five minutes the other week and didn't like it. didn;t really check out what features it has vs firefox. i do know it's sposed to be faster and more secure than fire fox but at the same time...

the way google handles private info i prefer limiting my use of their products and services. the only google service i use is their search engine.

Chrome is good, especially when you install the AdBlock extension (yes, from the same folks who brought us AdBlock Plus on Firefox). I really only use to access my gmail accounts, and then I continue my random surfing in Firefox. That way I know that my gmail accounts can't be compromised by XSS or whatever.

GoogleTalk is a reasonable IM client too, very slimline, and it just works.

I'm sure I had a little bit of javascript a while back, but recaptcha is about the only thing I can think of that uses it now. Never really liked javascript.

Thanks for the report, I will file it here for future reference. =)
