Thieves Pay
What's been happening then? Well, earlier this week Legion arrived at my house and is still there, playing about on my home computer. He has never played GTA: San Andreas so he started on that on Monday. Of course, he needed some help from the professionals (myself and Jose) on some of the more annoying early missions. The first Cesar mission being a particular irritant (the one where you bounce your car in time with the music).
I haven't heard anything from my ex-lodger since he promised again and again to return my house keys and pick up the rest of his stuff. He tried calling me on the 4th of this month (end of contract day) whilst I was at work, obviously hoping to check that I wasn't in, so that he could come in while I wasn't there and pick up his benefits, whilst at the same time avoiding paying what he owes me. £750 is not something one should sniff at. So his theivery and lies have left me no alternative than to excommunicate him.
I have since changed my house locks (front and back) and will be leaving his remaining possessions outside of my property. If the stuff is stolen it's not my problem. He stole from me, so it has a kind of sweet justice to it, don't you think?
I don't appreciate anyone who considers theft and honesty to be unimportant, when in actuality all religions state quite categorically that these two are essential for anyone living a religious lifestyle.

You're quite right to be pissed and change the locks though.
Lack of funds is also in incorrect assumption, as when you are given Housing Benefit from the Council, you are expected to pay all of that money directly to the landlord. This he never did, he chose instead to steal the rent money from myself and spend it on himself.
That is theft, and there is no excuse.
