UK: Foreign Criminals Wanted
Today, in fact, 10 minutes ago, I turned on the Government-Sponsored/Censored/Overturned BBC News 24, who reported that John Reid, the UK's current Home Secretary (aka Make-It-Up-As-You-Go-Along Secretary), stated that the country has run out of prison places, and a new plan is upon us!
More jails! Conversion of hospitals into prisons, putting male prisoners in female prisons, and to top it all: £2500 for foreign prisoners who agree to be repatriated to their country of origin. Does anyone else see the incredulous idiocy in this idea?
"I am a criminal, I live outside of the UK. I can go to the UK and commit as many crimes as I like (profiting and laundering as I go), and when I do get arrested, they will give me £2500 and let me go home! W00t!"
They're gonna have a fucking field-day.
The solution of overcrowded prisons is simple. Decriminalise all drugs, and give abusers help not punishment. 50% prison population slashed.
Can't do that of course, the USA would be very unhappy, drug users must be PUNISHED! DAMN THEM HAVING FUN ON OUR WATCH!
