Flying tuttys Charter - or (FlyTts) on steam
We are a social casual guild. because we socialize alot and becasue we're baddies.
1 we use mumble. We will try our best to help you set it up, but quite frankly it's incredibly easy. Mumble is where the magic in FT happens. When we are in game it's where we do 99% of our talking.
1b- Mumble usage is entirely optional, but you are going to have difficulty running with us in groups and activities/events without it. Mumble is rated R for adult content of different kinds.
2 DK is the leader, mostly because he's the one with the time and patience to make things happen. We might have other members in leadership roles or officer positions of various types from time to time. We try not to abuse our in game/voip/forum powers, and we will not treat you like a child. That begin said, when a leadership team member - this doesn't have to be the GM - is giving directions, they should be followed.
3 Events/activities: there's a time and place for everything and the middle of a PvP fight is not the time to question the directions of the member leading that activity. It doesn't matter what rank you are, or what rank the current activity leader is, if the leader says run, you nyerking run.
3b If the leader, or anyone else, runs into a certain death situation, don't stand back and let him die alone, get in there and and die like a true hero.
4 We are not child/family friendly. This means we won't change the way we speak or behave because you happen to have your speakers at max volume and children are around. Also you should expect to get teased about things so if you can't handle it, too bad. This doesn't mean you can't invite friends, family or children into the guild, just know that they may or may not find the atmosphere likable.
5 AFK- first off you are going to be kicked if you make a habit of going afk during instanced PvP in order to farm gear without participating. This is not how the game is supposed to be played. That being said, IRL comes first, as well DK smokes like a mothernyerker so it would be poor sport to tell people they can't go afk. That being said, the middle of a pull or a PvP battle is a bad time to go afk.
5b Moderate and manage your afk breaks and most of all if you're in a group try to make them short.
6 Activity/event attendance and tardiness: Generally speaking we start raid/group invites 15 minutes before an event is scheduled. Not all events/activities are scheduled. Regardless, we do expect people who wish to take part to be at the meet up location and ready by the time the event is scheduled to begin. If you show up late, that's ok, but you'll have to catch up with the rest of us. For PvE activities such as raids, if you aren't on time we'll assume you aren't coming and attempt to fill your spot. Event and activity start times and dates are made with trying to have as high a turn out as possible.
7 Begging and RMT - we frown upon begging in public or gchat. However asking to borrow some tradable currency is not begging unless you are nagging about it so to say. Illegitimate 3rd party RMT is generally frowned upon, ie. buying accounts items, tradable currency, power leveling or other services with IRL money. Doing this will likely result on a gkick if you make it a habit or like to tell people about it.
7b Begging for dungeon runs is also a bad idea. That begin said, feel free to ask for runs. just don't expect the guild membership to run you through content all the time, we have stuff we want to do too.
8 Helping each other out with content: We all level at our own pace, some of us slower than others. We prefer not to pressure people to keep pace with our faster levelers, however if you are slower and want to see group content, while it's perfectly ok to ask people for help, keep in mind they may prefer to do so with higher level toons that may make the content trivial. that's just the way the cookie crumbles.
this charter is subject to change, at which time membership will be notified of changes.
this charter is subject to approval by the standing membership of FT.
